What does the "host" need to Provide?

The host or hostess provides the space to have the party. Be it a home or an alternate venue, the arrangements for booking and reserving the space is done by the host. Finally, they bring the artists along with their "Crafty Taxi fare" and we take care of the rest!

Do we HAVE to do a painting?

Certainly Not! The Crafty Taxi artists are professionals in many different mediums and are willing to tackle almost any craft you can conjure up in your mind. Have a "Pinterest" project you've been dying to try? Call us! We will help you put together your ideal craft! As always, we will provide the materials for your chosen project.

What does it cost?

Kids classes are $15 per person and includes an 8x10 inch stretched canvas on a wood frame. Prices can increase with upgrades to the size of the canvas preferred.
Classes for adults are $20 per person and up, and include a larger 9x12 inch stretched canvas on wood. Classes for Adults typically paint a much more sophisticated or involved subject, resulting in longer classes and more paint being used. Adults also may upgrade to larger canvases if preferred for a slight increase in price.

How many people can be in a class?

The Crafty Taxi prefers to have at the very least 10 people to a group and can accommodate at many as 35 students at once. Age and difficulty of the project factor in to class size, but for the most part we are always able to let everyone join in on the fun! 

What does a Crafty Taxi class look like?​

The gallery below gives some examples of what your party or class will look like once we are set up and ready to begin! Each artist will receive the following to create their masterpiece! One tabletop easel, one stretched canvas, cups and water for cleaning brushes. We also provide a palette for paint, a wide variety of paintbrushes, paintpens, pencils and other tools, as well as all the paint needed for their project. We also provide Aprons, towels and napkins because painting is messy! Upon request, we provide table-coverings and drop-cloths as well as extra table space.


​Once we're all set up, we take the subject that you have chosen (yes! You get to choose what you paint!) and  display a finished example. We paint it all together with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions from a friendly professional artist!

The finished product is ALWAYS a bunch of smiling artists with some glorious works of art!
